Looking to confirm family line from Westerly, Washington RI, and find where they originated (I believe it is Wales, but that is from elder family members telling me stories, and they have not always been correct!)

Would like to connect with other branches of this family line as well. I descend from the son John Lewis, b 1698 who married Mary/Marcy Burdick. Their son, Zebulon Lewis (b @ 1734) married Mary York, and had son, Jabez York Lewis (b 1790).
