CAMERON - Mary McDermott “Wis” Nolte, 95, of Cameron died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 in a Cameron nursing facility.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Norton officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Nolte was born July 27, 1912 in Cameron to Sam and Maude McDermott.

She married Alvin Nolte and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cameron and the Central Texas Hospital Auxiliary.

Two brothers, Mike and Sam McDermott also preceded her in death.

Her brother, Roy McDermott of Fort Worth survives.
