Need assistance learning about one soldier.

Several years back while digging a hole in the back yard I came across what is probably the biggest discovery of my life. There was an authentic Civil War sword in my backyard in central Missouri. Took me quite some time to verify that it was infact from the Civil War, in which I am positive now that is. However, on the actual blade part there is what appears to be a name engraved near the handle. It reads "W. Clauberg Solingen"
For going on two years now I have exhaustively researched this name to no avail. I have no found even the tiniest clue leading me to other places. Nothin I have seen gives any indication of who this was (if it is even a person) or even nothing so simple as Union or Confederate. Recently I have began to wonder if this is truly a name on this sword. Perhaps it may be the company who manufactured it or the designers name. I'm truly out of ideas on what to do. Anyone who knows anything about this or anyone who could point me to look somewhere, I would appreciate any and all help I can get, for this is something I greatly desire to learn about.

Thanks
