I have a mystery lady in my family, and am in need of some help and advise please. Eugenie Maria Aimee' Barbont, married Wilfred Wright in Swineshead Parish Church, near Boston Lincolnshire, in 1920. She was born c1898, her Father was Charles Augustin Barbont, a Coal Merchant. Both witnesses were from the Wright family, so no clues there.
I have been unable to find a birth registration for either Eugenie or her Father, nor any Wright/Barbont children after the marriage. I have searched some local Drectories for Charles' business with no sucess either. The name does sound French, and I realise the spelling could have been changed. I am really fascinated with this lady and would love to find out more if possible, so any help or advise would be great.
