My gr,gr grandfather, John S. Sullivan was born in N.C. on 22 Nov, 1804, and died 08 Aug, 1865 in Davidson Co., N.C. He was married to Eleanor Ledbetter or it could be Ledford, born on 21 Oct, 1807 in N.C. and died 02, May,1885 in Davidson Co. They lived near Thomasville, and had nine children: my gr. grandfather David Sullivan,
Jane Emily, Diadome, Smith Right, Rachel, Peter Franklin,
Hamilton Linza, Pleasant M. C., and Robert Sanford. I am looking for information on the parents of John S. Sullivan
and Eleanor Ledbetter (Ledford) Sullivan. Any information will be appreciated. Also, I have learned that one of the girls married a John Sowers, but she died young and gave her two year old son to my gr.grandfather, David, to raise
in Kentucky. If anyone has info on John Sowers, I would like to hear from you.
