I'm trying to locate a family from Minden, Iowa. My grandfather, Eldred W. Kay was born there & the farm is still there (a potato chip comercial was filmed on it years ago). I'm looking for his father's name & his mother's name. His mom remarried & moved to Chicago but was buried at the Minden cemetary when she died. Her last name was Duestch (or a variation on that spelling). I know her grave marker is there because when I visited in 1998 I saw it. If anyone has any information about this family I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know much about any of my great gradparents & especially my grandfather's family.
