• The obituary for Sarah (Coleman) Dann in 1930 refers to a step brother Albert Coleman and a brother William – BDM records cannot be located –. An Albert Coleman was attending Oakhampton Public School in 1892.(grandson?)
• William, Philip, Albert, Lydia and Jane attended David’s funeral in 1938. Neither obituary mention Richard, who may have died before 1930

4/5/1918 There passed away in Strathfield on Saturday evening last a native and former resident of Maitland, in the person of Mr. Robert Coleman, son of the late Mr. Robert Cole man, of' Oakhampton. He had been ailing for about twelve months. He spent his younger days in the Maitland district, but for the past forty years had resided in the metropolitan suburban area. For many years he faithfully discharged responsible duties as one of the chief gardeners at the Gladesville Asylum, and subsequently became an orchardist at Fairfield. Later he took up his residence at Strathfield, where he undertook gardening. The late Mr. Coleman was a man of kindly disposition, and was well known to many of the older residents in the Maitland district. He is survived by a widow, one son, Private Joseph Coleman, who is at the front and has been wounded, and one daughter, Mrs. C. Mackay, of East Maitland. He is also survived by Messrs. John, William, David, and Phillip Coleman , of the Maitland district, brothers, Abraham (Richmond River) and Albert Coleman (Maitland), step-brothers, and Mesdames J. Dann (East Maitland), J. Willard ( (Lorn), Mrs. Stocks, and Miss Jane Coleman (Sydney), sisters, and Miss C. Coleman, of Lorn, step sister
