I am trying to research my dad's family history. I do not know any of my Calhoun relatives because my dad was raised by his stepfather and his biological father died when I was two. My dad's name is Chester Auburn Calhoun and his father is Chester Calhoun also, but I don't believe they are jr. and sr. My great grandmother is Ella Mae Calhoun, who is also deceased. My grandfather remarried and had a few girls, and I believe one is also named Ella Mae and I think another is Deborah, but I am not sure. I believe the oldest was born somewhere around 1975 and my parents tell me one is my age and I was born in 1978. My grandfather was shot and killd by a police officer in June of 1980 and I have the autopsy reports somewhere. I also have a picture of my great-grandmother holding my father as a young infant.
