I am an indirect descendant of these Williams and I have the book on the Douglas Genealogy. William Douglas and Ann Mattle had a son William, who married Abiah Hough and had lands set off for him by his father in Voluntown, which he later sold to his son, William, who had married Sarah Proctor (parentage unknown) , and had moved to Plainfield CT.
