Re: Jose Hoover 1805-18?5 Rainham
I'm inquiring as to Jose Hoover's children. Did he have a daughter Rosanna (b. 01 Dec. 1836, d.13 Feb.1885) ? Rosanna was born in Walpole, Haldimand County. Don't know Rosanna's parents, but she had a son named Jose born circa 1859. Rosanna married John Shevalier on 30 April,1856. Thanks for the help.

Re: Anna Swarts, wife of Jose Hoover
Yes, thank you again. Just for your information, Rosanna also had a daughter, Annie born circa 1867 as shown on 1871 census of Rainham Twp,Haldimand Co. After Rosanna's death, Annie was still living with her father on 1891 census. Don't know what became of Annie or Jose (children of Rosanna).

Re: Simon Swartz UE & his wife Christiana Bentson both of Kingston
I am looking for the connection between Simon Swartz UE of Kingston, Ontario and the Orser family of the same place. Simon shows up on the British transport, Camel, when it left NY for Canada in 1783. He is listed "in the middle" of the Orser family. I thought perhaps he was married to an Orser. He also shows up on the list, KRRNY - First Battalion (Butler's Rangers) Tryon County, NY (again with the Orsers)
