I have been photographing British war graves for the British War Memorial Project.

Last week I came across this grave in a cemetery near Lochgilphead, Argyll.

I wonder if anyone has any idea how someone from the Japanese Forces ended up there - I would expected that if he had been crew off a merchant ship then it would have read Japanese Merchant Marine or Navy.
