Am searching for information on the Browns that settled around Barney in what is now Faulkner Co. Deb Ingram states that several Browns came to the area in early 1850. Elisha, Robinson, George, Frederick. Have found J.R. Brown(believe to be Robinson my gggrandfather) on 1860 census. Find some of his sons and their families on 1870 census. Have not found brothers' families anywhere. They all are from Kentucky/Tennesse area and were related to Mary Brown Dalton. Did they only stay short time and them return to Ken/Tenn? Any information on these Browns or the J.R(Robinson) Browns would be appreciated. Thanks
