Scandanavian vs. Anglo Saxon DNA

My DNA ethnicity results came back and they were very surprising to me. 79% Scandinavian. I know for a fact that none of my ancestors as far back as the 1700s were from Scandinavia. However, I do know that I have tons of British ancestors and a few Germans. My DNA results showed no British Isles DNA. I find that strange, but it's scientific so I'll accept the results. In viewing people that Ancestry.com believes I'm related to, they all show British Isles as well as Scandinavian. Again, 79% seems VERY high. Does anyone know what British Isles DNA means? Is that Anglo Saxons (who were actually Germanic from Denmark/Germany) or Celts? I did a bit of research after my results and found that MOST of my Brits came from the region that was invaded by and settled by Danish/Norwegian Vikings, but I'm surprised I don't have any British Isles DNA.
