My mother was put in the Illinois Soldiers Orphans Home when she was a child. She told me there were 4 including herself that were put in the orphanage. I found the record with my mom, Louella Pauline, and her older sister Madge listed. Mom told me the baby, the youngest died while they were there. I am looking for any of my mother's family ties I can find. I know her father was Albert Orval Cooper and her mom was Lula Enke. If anyone has any information, please share.
