I'm looking for information on a William G. Tharp and daughter in law, Louisa Tharp. I think William may have been the brother of Lanson/Alason and Andrew. In the 1850 Washington Co. KY Census, William and wife, Sarah, had a Louisa (Tharp) living with them, along with her children, Madison, Hardin and Lucinda. I think that she was married to William and Sarah's son, whoever that was. (I would like to find out.)I believe Louisa's name might have been either Louisa Teresa or Teresa Louisa and she became a widow sometime between 1845 and 1850. In 1853, I think she may have married Joseph McCarty, son of Justin McCarty. William G. Tharp signed as sureity for the marriage of Teresa/Louisa to John Devine about 1867. I would like to find the maiden name of Louisa and the name of the Tharp man that she married. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
