Martin and Nelson Stauts, both listed in the Ontario 1871 federal cencus. Martin, age 34, was living in Belleville, Hastings Co. Nelson, age 37, was listed in another Ontario Co. Believed to be brothers? Martin Stauts has occupation listed as an Inspector for the Grand Trunk Railway. Need to connect Martin as possible gg grandfather. This is a 80% likely match, as have possible decendants and all were employed with Canadian National Railways! Men of the rails I guess! Any info helps....Carolyn
