On Tuesday of last week Mrs. James Cullen of Leamington, passed away, after an illness extending over two years. She was a daughter of the late Michael Wigle, of Ruthven, and was born in Gosfield South in 1839, being in her 70th year at the time of her death. She was married 49 years ago to James Cullen, who with a large number of sons and daughters survive her. Surviving sons and daughters are, Stephen, of Buffalo; Orlando and Forest, of Manitoba; Howard and Wallace, of Leamington; Mrs. R. Mosey, Jessie, Mrs. Berry, Mrs. T. Norman, Mary and Alvah at home.

County Deaths
James A. Cullen
Jas. A. Cullen in his 54th year, passed away at his home in Leamington, Wednesday of last week. He had been in failing health for some time. Deceased was born in Amherstburg and was the eldest son of the late James and Elizabeth Cullen. His wife predeceased him 8 years ago. Five sons and four daughters survive;--Stephen, Howard and Wallace, of Leamington; Orla and Forest of Brandon, Man; Mrs. R. E. Mosey of Walkerville; Mrs. J. A. Mills, Edomonton, Alberta; Mary and Alva, at home. One sister, Mrs. H. Fox resides at Olinda.

An interesting event took place at the Baptist parsonage, Kingsville, August 18, when Elzer Large, of Leamington was united in marriage to Miss Loloa Cullen, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Cullen, also of Leamington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Hisey.
On Tuesday evening August 21, Basil Fox of Leamington was united in marriage to Miss Olive Cullen, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Cullen, also of Leamington. The nuptial knot was tied by Rev. J. S. Leckie at his home.

Mrs. Basil P. Fox passed away at her home in Leamington, Sunday, February 22nd, a victim of pneumonia. She was married only three years ago to Mr. Fox, who serves, for several months in the Canadian Expeditionary Force. She was only twenty-four years of age, and leaves a child of fifteen months. The following also survive. Her husband, Basil Fox; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Cullen; three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Hildebrant, Ohio; Mrs. E. Large, of Leamington, and Miss Leali, at home; also two brothers, Wilson of Detroit, and Cedric of Walkerville.

County Deaths
Word was received in Leamington last week of the death at Miami, Fla., of Wilson Cullen, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Cullen, the result of an attack of erysipelas. He was 29 years of age, and leaves a wife and two children. The remains were brought to Leamington for burial.
