I was always told that my maternal grandmother (Clara Eddy Barrows Hollingworth) was an ordained Baptist minister, probably one of the first women to be ordained. She never talked much about is as she felt after her marriage, her priority was her family. Where can I find information on early ordinations? She was born in 1895, so would think I would be looking at 1915-1925 or so when she became a minister and missionary. She married in 1928, so I am sure it was before that.
