Have been researching the Hill Family whose roots are in Franklin County, Alabama. Have seen on Ancestry.com tree that George W. Hill (1831- ?) from Franklin County, Alabama, and his wife Anna Bolling (1836- ?) are listed as the parents of this Rebecca Jane Hill who was married to John Henry Smith (1858-1949). Rebecca and John were married in Lee County on March 30, 1879 and raised a large family in Phillips County. I would like to correspond with anybody who is familiar with this family and/or who might have any info about Rebecca's Hill relatives--her father and mother and any siblings of hers. My great-grandfather William Franklin Hill, from the Buck Range Community in Howard County, Arkansas, was a brother to the aforementioned George W. Hill from Franklin County, Alabama.
