I have noticed that on Ancestry Public Trees about 50% of the entries for this gentleman, my Great x2 Grandfather, show his parents as Isaac Batten and Ann Slugg. I have searched the Wiltshire Family History, and so have the society, but Isaac and Ann are shown to have had 7 children, none of which was named as William.
Any sources to prove this linkage would be appreciated, if it is in fact true.
