Searching for any Moody's (all spellings) who might have left Ayrshire with the Kennedy's and other families for Northern Ireland.
A Rev. James Moody - Presbyterian minister was b. 1705 in Magherally, Ireland. He later lived and ministered in Newry, Co. Down, Ireland until his death around c1771. He married Frances KENNEDY daughter of Rev. Gilbert Kennedy who came from a long line of Gilbert Kennedy's of Ayrshire, Scotland and the Orkney area. Both areas where descendants of the Moodie / Mudie families lived as well.
