I am trying to find additional information on William Sprouse that SSDI states died May, 1964/SINGLE/Montgomery County, Texas. His date of birth is 10/21/1885, SS# is 450-18-9708. I believe this is possibly my grandfather but I don't yet understand the 'single' connotation. My grandmother's name was Tely Ann Wenger Sprouse, buried in Liberty, Liberty Co., Tx. From what little information I have, I believe they were married as Tely carried the 'Sprouse' name and all children show William as their father. The William Sprouse that I am looking for possibly has a middle name of 'Lafutte'. Can ANYONE associated with Montgomery County, TX help me figure out if this IS my William?
