Wife of Erie Baker is dead
Ill for only a short time, Mrs. Louise A Haft fifty-three of 915 East ave. died early Tuesday morning in St Vincent’s hospital.
The former Anna R. Bauman, the decedent was well known throughout the city. Her husband operates a bakery at the East ave. address.
She was a member of St. Ann’s church and was affiliated with the Altar society, Rosary society and Ladies Catholic Benevolent association, Branch No. 135, of St. John’s church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Edward G. and Norman M. Haft; one daughter, Mi??? R. Haft; two grandchildren, Norman and Richard Haft, and four brothers, the Rev. Edward Baumann, C.SS.R., of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; Joseph, John and Michael Bauman, Erie.
Funeral will be held from the late residence Friday at 8:30a.m., followed by solemn requiem high mass at 9 o’clock in St. Ann’s church. Interment will be in the family plot, Trinity cemetery.
