We're looking for information on the Nelsons of Stokes County, NC.
Most of this enire Nelson clan migrated from Stokes/Surry County, NC to Boone, Wayne, and Logan Counties, WV., in the 1830s, with a number of other families surnamed Estep, Stone, Bennett, Carroway, and Conway, into which they married.
