Burial of William S. (son of S. & S. E. Thompson) and Sarah E. Thompson are in Keen Chapel Cemetery, Larkinsburg Twp. Clay County, IL. (Cemetery is in Farina, IL.)
Farina, IL is in the corner of Fayette, Marion, Effingham and Clay counties.
Also buried there is a Smallwood Thompson born abt 8/27/1854, died 1/13/1892 age 47yrs. 5mos. 19ds. – youngest son?
Checked 1860, 1870 and 1880 Clay County Larkinsburg Twp. census and did not find one Thompson.
Checked all of 1860 Fayette County, IL. - not found.
My best guess is that this Smallwood Thompson is the son of Archibald Thompson or Archibald’s brother.
