The birth of William Patrick McDermott has his mother as Mary Pamilia McGouay (at least it looks like this on the record). I have no doubts that this is your ancestor Pamelia Elizabeth McGoey.
Patrick McDermott, son of the late Michael McDermott and Hannah Kavanagh & Widower of the late Margaret Gunn, married Pamelia Elizabeth McGoey, daughter of the late Thomas McGoey and Julia Duffy, on the 28th October 1883 at St Patrick's in Ottawa. This record stating all of the previous is on the "Ontario Catholic Church records (Drouin Collection)".
There is a record under the "Ontario Canada Marriages" showing Pamela McGoey, daughter of Thos McGoey & Julia Duffy marrying 28 Oct 1883 to Patrick McDonald in Ottawa. This is a repeat of the above record but has been transcribed incorrectly by Ancestry.
Pamela Mac Goey age 13 was shown with her family on the 1871 Census for Quebec, 93 - Ottawa West, A1- Templeton but by 1881 she was shown as Amelia McGoey age 22 with her family in the Wellington Ward of Ottawa, Ontario.
There is a death record for Pamelia McGoey McDermott shown on Ancestry under the Drouin Collection as:
Name: Mrs Amelia McDermott, died in Ottawa at age 64
[Pamelia McGoey]
Event: Enterrement (Burial)
Died: 6 Feb 1928
Burial Year: 8 Feb 1928
Burial Location: Cantley, Québec (Quebec)
Place of Worship or Institution: Ste-Élisabeth
I believe Pamelia was named after her grandmother, Pamelia Wright McGoey who was shown with Thomas Sr. and Thomas Jr. on the 1852 Census for Templeton Twp., Ottawa County, Quebec.
The photo of Patrick McDermott's tombstone on Ancestry gave his wife's name as Permelia McGoey died Feb 6 1928 aged 71yrs. This same tree shows the obituary for Patrick and does say Margaret, his first wife, died 44 years ago then 39 years ago he married Miss Pamela McGoey
