Hi,

My name is Carolyn Holton Ethridge. I am trying to locate a Cornelius James Holton born 1855 in Georgia. I found him in the 1870 Federal Census, Augusta Ward 4, Richmond, Georgia His Mother's name is Ann and sister Josaphine. He lived in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was 40 years old when he married my Grandmother in 1895 in Pine Bluff Arkansas and listed his birthplace as GA. He disappeared when my Dad was 2 years old. The story is that he died of typhoid fever while working for the Southern Pacific Railroad in Mineral Wells, Tx. He was working at the Iron Works in Marietta Georgia in 1881.

Any help would be nice.
