If you haven't discovered it already, CAMM is a variant spelling of KEMM (and OF CAM, KEM, KEMB, KEMBE). In my family, based in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, England, the change took hold in the latter 1700s. One line followed CAMM, another KEMM. The later came to the US (PA) in the mid-1800s; however, the 1850 Census taker misspelled my gr-gr-grandfather's name as Samuel Camm. I'd be happy to share my info with anyone connected.
