John Middleton in Montgomery Co. Arkansas, rode with the Belle Starr gang for a while. He fathered a child by the name of William Joel Middleton. I found William in Scott County Arkansas in the 1870 Census at 12 years old liing with The Yandell family. Its said that William's mother was Mary Ann Butler.
