My Great-great-great-grandmother, MARY FRANCES LeROUX was the wife of BAZILLE GUYOT of Carthage.

According to page 513 of John Haddock's History of Jefferson Co., NY 1793-1894, MARY "was a beautiful French woman, as is evidenced by her portrait, painted by the celebrated Madame De Ferret".

I would like to know more about Madame De Ferret and in what time period she painted. This would be helpful to me in my continuing (and long-time) search for information about my Mary Frances LeRoux Guyot.
