My gggrandfather, John Montgomery Parker, was born in Tennessee on 4/3/1849. He married Amanda Caroline Harris on 12/12/1872 in Madison, TN. I believe his father to be Jesse Parker born about 1817.

I located John M. on the 1880 census in Henderson Co., TN. Living next door was Jesse (father) and a sister, Sarah (b. abt. 1861).

I believe he has several brothers living in the area as follows:

Jesse T. (b. 1852); Joseph P. (b. 1856); Alfred (b. 1856); George W. (b. 1848); Danny (b. 1860).

I do not know John Montgomery's mother's name. John Montgomery migrated to Lamar County, TX, before 1890. I would appreciate any information on John Montgomery Parker or any of his family. Thanks!!
