I am looking for my great grandfather Julius Greene Born abt 1859 in Germany. I do not have the city. He arrived in the states in abt 1866, but I do not know where. I am also looking for the maiden name of my great grandmother, the wife of Julius, named Mary Green born in Hanover, Germany abt 1873. She arrived in the US abt 1884 or 1990. I have been unable to find her maiden name listed.

They spent most of their lives in Minnesota. They had several children together, including my grandfather John (Jack) E Greene born in 1902.

I am at a stand still looking for both of them...I do have information about each, but nothing of their history in Germany. I was told that either of them might be of Jewish background.
