I don't know if either of the two people listed are related to my husband's family. It is certainly possible.

In the late 1980s, Alexander Chepurny Sr.'s brother, Mykola and their niece, Maria visited us here in Ontario, Canada. We have unfortunately since lost touch with the family since Alexander died of lung cancer in 1991.

We have a journal written by Alexander Sr. before he died and are attempting to have it translated so his children and grandchildren may have his family history. He tells many compelling stories about his family and his village of Stetiewka.

We would appreciate any help in tracing Alexander's roots in Ukraine.
