I am looking for information on Coleman F Hord, and more specifically, his wife Virginia. I have seen trees that show she was a Thompson. It is possible since one of my Thompsons (George W) was living with her in 1860. Virginia remarried Edward Whitworth and I find her living in the home of her sister, Caroline in 1900 in Coffee County. She's widowed and it shows she was the mother of 3 children, but none are living. Based on previous census records, they had 3 sons: William b. 1844, Robert b. 1849 and Coleman b. 1856. I've had no luck locating anything on the sons after 1870. Her husband Coleman died in 1874. His will names Virginia as executor and she is the only family member listed to receive property.

Caroline was married to Wiley Hickerson. The 1900 census shows Caroline had no children. I am looking for any information that would help me prove or disprove that Virginia and Caroline were Thompsons.
