Looking for ancestry of Miranda (also spelled Maranda) Carnahan. Know that she proceeded her husband Jeremiah Proctor in death in the state of NY.

Believe she may be the daughter of Samuel and Mary Carnahan. According to Almon Brown Cannon's "The Descendants of Samuel (Carnahan) Cannon of Ulster, Ireland and Blandford, MA" 1932 page 12. Samuel Carnahan had a daughter named Miranda. Her brother Elisha married Mary (Polly) Proctor.

Seems like a good lead but need more information.
