DIED
Mrs. Martha Cook, wife of Monroe Cook, residing near Darwin, died very suddenly last Thursday morning at 2:00. Mrs. Cook has been ailing for several weeks but was thought to be out of danger and her sudden death is a blow to her friends and relatives. She leaves a husband, one child three years old and two little twin babies, who have the heartfeld sympathy of the entire neighborhood in their sad affliction. The funeral took place yesterday at the Baptist Church at Sharon. Rev. Condiff officiating.
Death cares not for the sanetity of home but claims her victims from all ranks and relations of life. The thing necessary is to be prepared for that event, that we may, like the departed, fall asleep in Jesus, confidently awaiting the resurection morn, that Christ, who is our life, shall appear, and that we shall also be with him in glory.
Sleep on dear sister, we will not mourn as those who have no hope.
