Surnames: Poindexter, Sherill
The 1880 Census for Cherokee Co., NC shows Francis and Nancy Sherill were listed as family #971 at Shoal Creek Township (some 15 miles west of Murphy, He was 77 and she 72. It is assumed they died in Cherokee Co. and buried there. Would like additional information.
