Back in the 1950s while living in rural Texas a cousin of my mothers came soliciting money for help in support of a lawsuit that had something to do with Choctaw land. My parents gave her $50. To my knowledge nothing ever came of it all. Mostly all that I know is that the trial was to take place in Philadelphia, Mississippi and the lawyer's name was Ware. Does anyone have any knowledge of this trial? I am trying to determine what our Choctaw connection was. Thanks
