I have numerous files of Shelburne County families and am willing to work with individuals interested in tracing their family history. My main concentration is the Stoddart and Atwood families. My mother is Margaret Jane Stoddart of Atwood's Brook who was the daughter of Robert Gordon and Lila Hazel(Atwood)Stoddart. I am publishing the history of the Stoddart Family of Nova Scotia very soon. Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help on the Shelburne families. Thanks

I have quite a bit of info on Elkanah and Elizabeth Smith. I am trying, unsuccessfully, to find more info on Ereck Smith. He is my paternal ggggrandfather. I know that he was of Scottish descent. My father told me that he was a soldier and the History of Barrington Township indicates the same. Do you have any other info on him?

Hi Gordon,
I have hit a brick wall in my search with Daniel Jean/Jaine/Jayne. He was supposed to be the father
of Andrew D. Jean Sr. Any info you might have will be
greatly appreciated. also Daniel was supposed to be
a Butcher in Shelbourne.
