Hi, I’m looking for ANY information on Ferguson’s of Winchester, Frederick, Virginia.
My 3rd Great Grandfather was Edward W. Ferguson. I do not know his parents names or if he had any siblings.
His Civil war enlistment records list his birth as 1821, Winchester, Frederick, Virginia.
He married Ruth Harry (or Harrah) on 30 Aug 1842 also in Winchester, Frederick, Virginia.
The 1850 census shows his residence as District 65, Wood, Virginia. From there he moved to Ohio and then on to Missouri where he lived until his passing in 1880.
Any information on him or his Family would be most graciously appreciated.
