My grandmothers family came from Godowa, Galacia Poland around 1896 as did many of the brothers, when arriving the spelling of the last name changed: Krockman, Krochman, Krockmol...on the census I've found their from Poland, Austria, Prussia...the best I've been able to nail is Godowa
What would the last name have been in Poland. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know it changed but what was it before.
