Benjamin was born 1783 in South Carolina His wife's name was Jane (I think her Maiden name was Hodge) They lived in the area of Clarendon S.C. I've had people say that Benjamin's father was John and others say it's Micajah Ellis- because his oldest son was named Micajah Ellis Courtney- the son married a Susan Mairah Hodge ( this name I know for sure) in 1850 in Sumter Co. S.C. The problem of connecting the parents Of Benjamin and other info needed to be sure who is corrected to the right person. Any help would be very happy to received. Thank you very much
