Info I have indicates he was born about 1814 in Amite County, married Mary McCoy or McCloy in 1847, and had two daughters: Frances Anna born 1848 and Priscilla Caroline born 1850. Wife Mary died before 1852. Charles then married Amelia Mariah Whitney in Amite Cty 3/11/1852. They had at least six children that I have found info on: Elizabeth born about 1853, Mary Ellen born 5/5/1855, Harriet born 5/13/1857, Ida born about 1859, Charles born about 1862, and Felix born about 1862.
