I am looking for information on Catherine Lee b. 1800 in VA, she married Andrew Michael in Morgan Co., Va and was the daughter of Barnett Lee of Shenandoah, VA and he was the son of John Lee. This is all the information I have on these people. I hope someone can help me with this family and their ancestry. I also have been told by relatives that the family originated in England, but I don't know what generation migrated to the U.S. My grandmother said that they were distantly related to Gen. Robert E. Lee, but I do not know how.
