Seeking anyone with information on the family of James and Rachel Waring of Galway NY. James is listed on the 1790 census for Ballstown Albany Co the family is listed as having four sons and five daughters and on the 1800 census the family is listed as having one son and three daughters. The history of Galway lists James as being an assembly man for the years of 1799,1800,1801, 1802 and the second Baptist Church lists the first meeting of their society Aug 27, 1789 at the house of James Warren his house was also used for the first meeting of the Presbyterian society in 1804. The Galway village cemetery list two daughters Susy 1783-1802 and Chloe 1797-1805. I believe this man is the son of John Waring and Katherine Tuttle b April 15, 1750 of Darian (Middlesex) Fairfield Co CT I also believe that Abraham Waring living in Ballstown in 1790 and another founding member of the second baptist Church is the brother of James.
