Hi there,
I'm looking for information on a baby boy found by my Grandmother (who was 10 at the time) in bushland at Picnic Point NSW on Sept 10 1943. He was taken to Canterbury Hospital for a medical check and then conveyed to Scarba Home at Bondi NSW.
He was one day old.
Detective Sergeant George Smith of the Criminal Investigation Branch was trying to track down the baby boy's mother.
Any relatives of George Smith of Western Australia are welcome to reply.
My Grandmother often thought of the baby boy and wanted to know what happened to him.
