I am trying to find information about the Hall family connected to Joe and Leah Hall.
He lived in Anderson county all of his life, around Clinton. He was born in the 1880's and died in 1947. (Some census say 1883, some say 1887). His wife's name was Leah ( nee Walden). They had several children, William, Nettie, Clara Violet, Edith, Mary Ella, Carl, Ethel, and Burton. Several of these also lived in or around Clinton all of their lives. I understand he had a brother named or called David and a brother named or called Tom, and this Tom was married to a woman named Sarah. Also a sister named or called Peggie. Peggy had a daughter named Mary and a son named George, born approx. 1905 and 1907. Peggy's daughter Mary married Huston Graham, they had children George and Georgette, Edward, and Willie. I have been through the censuses at ancestry.com, and I find them with their respective families, however I cannot seem to locate the information I am seeking - who were Joe's parents? Who were Leah's parents?
You know the census I needed is the one that isn't there - the 1890.......
Joe was buried along the fence row of the cemetery there in Clinton, and now a shed has been built over the top of his grave and his infant son's grave (They were only marked with rocks). Leah died in Maryville in 1963. I am not sure where she was buried.
I believe they were married sometime between 1910 and 1916.
Thanks in advance for any information.
