I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding the German geography. Is Niedersachsen a county? A territory? What is it?! Also, in one of my old family books it says someone was born in Apenfin, Hanover, Germany. However, Apenfin doesn't show up on any search sights so I'm not sure if it really exists. Does anyone recognize the name?
