BRIDGES, WILLIAM STANLEY "STAN" lived in Weldon on the MacDonald Farm as a farmer with his wife EVA ROWENA HAYWOOD-BRIDGES who was known as "Evie". "STAN" BRIDGES died July 06, 1966 and is buried in the Sand Hill Cemetery at Auvergne, but I do not know where Stan's first wife, my grandmother ...
EVA BRIDGES is buried. EVA's maiden name was Haywood from Fulton County AR (daughter of Jeremiah Calvin Haywood) and she died in aproximately 1935 at the aproximate age of 45. One of her daughters (my aunt Virna "Bridges"-Abner 80 years of age) told me her mother died after having many children and having a hard life. EVA died of "Plagra?" and I was told that she may be buried at the "August" cemetery, but I can not find it in Jackson County. Maybe they were saying "Augusta" which is a Town south of Weldon in Woodruff County. Does anybody know of EVA BRIDGES and/or where she is buried? I am one of her grandsons. My ancestry is of BENJAMIN F. HINSON and IDA L. RICE (Hinson's and Rice's of Paris, Logan County, AR) and of
