My name is Kelly and I am searching for my relatives in Washington Co. My father was Robert WILKERSON, born. 1934 d. 1999. His parents were Clifford Wilkerson and Barbara C. Politte. The first set I am looking for are Frank/Franklin Benjamin Politte, b. 12/18/1875 d. 8/22/1946. Married 11/27/1906. to Cora E. Battreal, b. 7/13/1884 d. 12/4/1940. Cora's parents were (Henry) Louis Batttral/Battreal m. Mary Jane Bushnell. LOuis and Mary are buried in the Catholic church yard in Old Mines/Cadet. Louis parents are believed to be Henry Battrell/Barthrell and Elen Rimon. Early Washington Co. marriage and grave stones in Cadet. 1830 Census also. I do not know Mary BUSHNELL's parents.

Frank Benjamin Politte's parents were John C. Politte (Possibly John Politte Robart) married to Mary Margaret Boyer. I do not have dates but believe them to be buried in Cadet as well. I am trying to locate any information and connnections on John and Mary as well.

On my grandfather's side I have Charles Anthony Wilkerson , b. 7/1/1876, d. 1938. Married to Mary Catherine Hawkins/Hawkens. b. 7/19/1885. D. 12/5/1971. Charles parents are James Anthony WIlkerson and Phoebe Jane Duncan. James Parents are believed to be George Washington Wilkerson and Elizabeth unknown. George Washington (b. circa 1816) and the other Wilkersons were from Palmer area of Washington co. Phoebe Jane Duncan's parents are unknown at this time. GW parents are belived to be Anthony Wilkerson/Wilkson and Jane Unknown.

Mary Kate Hawkins parents were James Hawkens, b. 1844 d. 1901, from England. His parents are unknown. Mary's mother was Levicy Duncan, from Palmer MO.and her parents are believed to be James Duncan, b. 1824 in Ky per census records. and Elizabeth Jane Bowles b. 1827 per census records and early marriage records.
